The craze of wonder bent with curiosity of will
Trapped inside a snow globe clear from mist
Watching those I knew break ties and lie for thrill
Losing heart in humans, something missed

A princess or a prince no more inside
Tainted, stained, defiled by the light
I wrapped my arms about my knees and cried
For loss of love from those who lost the right

It's been over a month since I last updated my journal, and it's been far too long since I uploaded much art.

Well, we'd better change that!

I don't have much news right now, other than that the upcoming art festival is in just over a week, and my art teacher wants me to participate. And after that, we're planning on doing some things to put in my portfolio, and a few pieces of art to put up in the art gallery he works at.

Aaaaaaand. Besides the art in the gallery... he wants me to put up a storyboard work that's part of one of my novels!

I have way more art in my future than I expected.

I used to have my NaNo blurb here, but ehhhh.

Hey there! I go by many names--most often Swift. I do traditional art, since my powers of drawing with a mouse are slow and very difficult for me. I draw people, fantasy creatures, and occasional bizarre doodles.

I'm also a writer. That is, in fact, my primary hobby. I participate in NaNoWriMo, National Novel Writing Month, and have won three times--writing three 50,000-word books. I'm working on eventually publishing my novels sometime in the future.

I am open for commissions and requests. Prices vary depending on the subject of the art and how much work goes into it. And I just plain don't draw slash or nudity or extreme gore.
